SMART-MP Klang was launched by His Excellency, Dato ‘Mohamad Yasid Bidin in line with the efforts of the State Government towards ‘Smart State’ The objective is to introduce the Smart-MPKlang digital application in an effort to enhance services delivery to the people. Customers would be entertained individually through people-oriented digital gateway applications by the Digital Personal Assistant who was the first ‘chatbot’ at the Local Authorities (PBT) programmed to understand the Malay language and answer common questions. The application uses ‘cloud infrastructure’ technology offered by Microsoft as the MPK effort towards the modernization of ICT services based on the involvement of the people.
