Deliver strong leadership with proven ability to run, manage, and facilitate large and complex cross-functional, high-cost projects.
Assist in defining project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders, and ensuring technical feasibility.
Responsibilities
- Review project deliverables for completeness and quality, with minimal guidance
- Develop project plans and manage deadlines and goals
- Communicate and manage stakeholder expectations and relationships effectively
- Track project progress and prepare and maintain progress reports
- Confront issues openly and quickly
- Support the daily project management of a cross-functional, lean-agile product team
- Be a collaborative problem solver and facilitate the development of project tasks and deliverables
- Support the product team in agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint demos
- Champion the Agile/Scrum process and evangelize its principles within the team
- Consolidate, translate, and communicate complex user requirements, technical information, and project risks across the product team and external business teams
- Be responsible and accountable for planning the product team's priorities and backlog
- Ensure the governance process is followed so reported issues can be resolved, keeping the team updated on resolution
- Utilize project management systems (ADO) to manage the team's current and backlogged priorities
- Monitor KPIs to ensure timely delivery of key outcomes
- Provide regular written and verbal communications on project progress to the wider product team
- Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for external services
Requirements
- Tertiary level qualification in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or a professional qualification from a recognised body (extensive relevant experience may be considered)
- PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage
- Good understanding of project management methodology such as Agile and Scrum
- A 'take lead' mindset — enjoys innovation and does whatever it takes to deliver on mandate
- Minimum 4 years of project management / agile / scrum experience
- Strong understanding of Microsoft and cloud technologies and implementations
- Experience managing projects with technical teams
- Self-initiative, excellent time management skills, and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Good command of Bahasa Melayu and English, both spoken and written
